As the signs say, it is truly the “Life-Giving Mountain.” Even when the peak is playing hide-and-seek behind the clouds, its presence is felt. Seeing a herd of wildebeest cross the water or elephants trekking across the plains with that snow-capped backdrop is a sight that makes your heart skip a beat.
A Land of Giants
Amboseli is world-famous for its elephants, and for good reason. My photos captured the full spectrum of their daily lives:
